             The W.I.S.E. is an apolitical Sporting and Cultural Association, based on the Geographical entity of the British Islands without borders or symbolic frontiers... 

        Our aim is to foster contacts and exchanges between the (former) Five Nations of the famous rugby tournament and more widely with every nation wishing to forge links with our city and the surrounding region. W.I.S.E. proposes, for example, varied themed trips in order to discover the region, its festivities, tourist attractions, and our local welcome. 

        Bordeaux has numerous touristic and archeological sites, and of course its world famous wine district, as well as important historical links with the British Isles and their emigrants throughout the world. 
       
        We create links for many sporting and cultural associations who seek to share in our outgoing philosophy.
